So what have I been up to?
1) I have my teaching license. Yay! Not many people on here know that I was in school for that, but whatever.
2) Went to Wizard Worl...I mean, Chicago Comic-Con (there never was a Wizard World Chicago, just ask the guy ahead of us in line to get in), for the third year in a row. Attendance seemed to be down overall, and the bigger comic companies were absent, but that actually led to us sitting in Artist Alley a bit more and getting to know a lot of awesome people. I still have to upload sketches some of the talent did for me.
3) Projects (mostly writing, though one art one is on the horizon...or...verizon...hey! That's where they got the name from!). Still haven't sold off Zero to anyone. I have a bunch of friends from college looking it over and helping me edit, so hopefully a more polished manuscript will be available (sooner rather than later, I could really use the money). For the past...oh, month or so, I've been working on a new story. The details are still under wraps for now, but more will be revealed in time.
As the Marvel execs would say, "There are awesome things coming, just trust us..."
I'm on the lookout for a new vehicle. Got to test drive a Prius. Aside from a hiccup whenever the engine switches over, it is a smooth ride and drives surprisingly well. If only I could comfortably afford the damn thing. Ah well, it's not the Prius' fault that hybrids are the thing to be and, therefore, pricey.
That's all for me now.
